📄 Terms and Conditions of Hire

By placing a booking with Te Pā Tākaro Party Hire, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

1. Booking & Payment
   A refundable security deposit is required at the time of booking to secure the hire and is not applied toward the hire cost. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than five (5) days prior to the agreed hire date.
2. Late or Non-Payment
   Failure to pay the remaining balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking, with the deposit retained. Te Pā Tākaro Party Hire reserves the right to withhold delivery or collection until full payment is received.
3. Security Deposit
   A refundable security deposit may be required and is held against loss, damage, excessive cleaning, late return, or breach of these terms. Any deductions will be itemised, and the balance refunded within a reasonable timeframe.
4. Cancellations
   All deposits are non-refundable. If Te Pā Tākaro Party Hire cancels a booking, all payments made will be refunded in full.
5. Use & Care of Equipment
   The hirer is responsible for ensuring all equipment is used safely, supervised at all times, and returned in the same condition as supplied.
6. Consumer Rights
   Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986.
